I think we've all heard about Pinterest growing like crazy. In February, we saw that hiring for Pinterest skills was just starting and we were curious to see what has been happening since then. Over the past 60 days, there have been 339 new job ads placed online for people with Pinterest skills. This is up 294% versus the prior 60 day period. You can see from the chart below that hiring for this skill set is just beginning.

Are Employers Looking for Candidates with Pinterest Experience Yet?

Pinterest is growing like crazy. According to a recent Business Insider article, Pinterest is already up to 11 million users and is the third highest referrer on the Internet (behind Facebook and StumbleUpon). With all of this growth, we were wondering if employers were starting to look for candidates with Pinterest experience.

We found that the hiring appears to be just beginning. Since August 2011, there have been a total of 59 new job ads placed by employers looking for candidates with Pinterest experience and 40 of those job ads were placed only in the last 30 days.
