Owner Operator, Physician Assistant, and Network Engineer are new to the list. The increasing demand for these positions match industry trends we've been seeing for transportation, healthcare, and IT positions. Owner Operator is a small business that is run by the same person that owns it. In this case it refers to an independent Truck Driver. The demand for this occupation demonstrates the increasing need for Truck Drivers. It also shows that employers are adapting to the challenging recruiting climate by hiring self-employed individuals for positions they've had a difficult time filling.

Aside from new occupations appearing on the list, we noticed that Java Developer, .NET Developer, Assistant Store Manager, Truck Driver, Delivery Driver, and Security Officer climbed the list of most advertised titles. This again fits hiring trends we've been seeing. Truck Drivers and IT positions continue to be some of the most in-demand positions and difficult-to-fill.
