Many of these are consistent with national demand. Below are the 10 most commonly advertised tech job titles in the Dallas metro area:

In addition, many of the highly demanded skills are similar to what is being demanded across the US. SQL, project management, Oracle Java, UNIX, and Linux are the 5 most in-demand job skills in the Dallas metro area. All of these skills are also highly demanded nationwide.

In general, conditions in Texas will be difficult. However, Recruiters should know that there are some alternative markets nearby that are experiencing better overall recruiting conditions.
