Online Job Ad Growth for Bilingual Spanish Skills
We know demand is increasing, but where is the best place to look for talent? Our Heat Maps show the difficulty-to-fill these jobs throughout the US. The best areas to recruit for this skill set are Barnstable, MA, Muskego, MI, Prescott, AZ, and Salisbury, MD. This is because these areas have a larger qualified potential candidate pool than the demand by employers. Springfield, OH has the most difficulty filling positions. Aware of the difficulty, this city is a bit more competitive in salary, paying $10,000 – $24,000 more than states with better conditions. Nationwide, it should be relatively easy to find qualified job candidates. Recruiters can expect a job ad to be posted online for 39 days, just under 6 weeks.
Heat Map for Hiring Difficulty of Spanish Speaking Skills
New York metro leads hiring demand with approximately 2,000 online job ads. Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and Houston metros follow in demand for jobs that require or prefer bilingual Spanish candidates. The volume of online job ads might be higher in these areas because they have larger Spanish speaking populations. This can also contribute to the reason these states have the most qualified candidates. Although these locations have a high candidate supply, they aren't among the easiest places to recruit these skills because their high demand increases the competition for talent.
Below are the 10 most commonly advertised job titles that require Spanish-speaking candidates. There are some slight changes among these titles.
