2. Registered Nurse

In the past 2 months online job ads have really picked up for Registered Nurses. The volume of job listings is at a 4 year high and a 25% year-over-year increase. While Houston saw the highest number of online job ads for RNs, Arizona saw the highest increase in demand for Registered Nurses year-over-year. Houston, TX has the most online job ads. The best place to recruit a candidate is Goldsboro, NC.
3. Computer Systems Analyst

Computer Systems Analyst online job ads peaked in March, beating pre-recession levels by 3%. Current hiring demand is 9% higher than a year ago. Recruiters will likely find these jobs easiest to fill in Dalton, GA, where demand is lower and the supply of candidates is higher. New York, NY has the most online job ads.
4. Social Worker

Online job listings for Social Worker positions peaked in May and have grown 19% from a year ago. New York had the most jobs ads posted online. If you are looking to source Social Workers, Utica-Rome, NY would be the best place to look for talent.
5. Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist online job ads reached a high in volume in 4 years during June 2011. Total year-to-date hiring demand in 2012 is pacing slightly ahead of last year. New York, NY has the highest demand for Dental Hygienists closely followed by Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL. The best area to hire talent would be Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY.
6. Sales and Related Occupations

Hiring demand for sales occupations pulled ahead of pre-recession levels in 2011 and is further increasing in 2012. Online job ad growth peaked in May of 2012. As of June 2012, hiring demand increased 12% over last year. Los Angeles, CA has the most demand. Dalton, GA is the best place to look for talent.
Overall, hiring demand for all these occupations has seen growth this year. Registered Nurses have seen the highest percentage growth at 25% year-over-year increase, followed by Accountants at 20%. Dental Hygienist has seen the least growth. Will the rest of 2012 bring more demand for these careers or will it level off?
