Last week, we posted that bilingual Spanish-speaking professionals are increasing in demand. After a great response, we thought we'd post hiring demand for another type of bilingual professional – those that speak Mandarin. In April 2012, more than 1,600 online job ads required bilingual Mandarin candidates. This is an 11% increase in hiring demand for this skill set. Just as Spanish-speakers saw a new 4-year high, the demand for Mandarin-speakers also reached a new high.
