Hiring Demand at Fortune's 10 Best Companies to Work For - 4 Year Hiring Trend
Below are the 10 occupations that were most in-demand during May 2013. With Edward Jones posting the most job ads, it's not surprising that Personal Financial Advisors were the most commonly advertised occupation. Almost 3,000 unique positions were advertised during the month of May, a 12% year-over-year increase. Other jobs that experienced increases from last year were First-line Supervisors of Office and Administrative Workers, Customer Service Representatives, Sales Agents of Securities and Commodities, Combined Food Preparation and Service Workers, and First-line Supervisors of Retail Sales Workers. Occupations that declined from may 2012 were Sales Agents of Financial Services, Applications Software Developers, Marketing Managers, and IT Project Managers. It's interesting that many of these jobs with declining demand were technology related, which are in high demand across the US and other companies.
